Groovetech EP 17 – Science Says Vinyl Sounds the Best

I came across an interesting article on Scientific American this week which details the science behind why vinyl sounds better than any other format. I always found that playing vinyl loud to be more comfortable to listen to than lets say a mp3, but I believed it had to do with its production value, compared to unmastered tracks one comes across on beatport.

If you got a few minutes I encourage you to follow CTRLROOM on their main channels. I have posted links to them below. Just liking and sharing this content helps us increase our reach so make sure to tell your friends on Social Media about us!

About Andreas

rouchos-dj-toronto-techno-house_Intro_HeaderAndreas Marouchos (Short, Rouchos), is a DJ from Toronto. Playing Techno and House, Andreas has been a professional DJ since 1998, playing sets in four countries. He is also a podcasting pioneer, with live audio and video mixes stretching as far back as the last millennium. Despite the progress of technology, Andreas still collects and spins 100% of music on Vinyl as he believes that “putting a laptop between a DJ and the crowd seems boring”.
