Groovetech EP 4 – CTRL ROOM – September 20th, 2016

Hello boys and girls. It was a great pleasure to be back on the decks at CTRL ROOM for episode 4 of the Groovetech monthly Out of Control Session, played live out of Toronto Ontario on the second Tuesday of the month.

Wrapped up the last CTRL ROOM set of the summer with plenty of new material I picked up in the months before. We heard new tracks and remixes by Mark Broom, Ben Sims, Savas Pascalidis, Kamikaze Space Programme, S-File, Lester Fitzpatrick, Jeroen Search, Rob Hood, Johannes Hell, NYC Loft Trax among plenty of others in this 3 hour show.

Things began on a housier note, playing some older material by Jason Grove and Aus Music, building the mix up in to Techno of all shades. Thanks to everyone who listened to the show this month. The next show goes live from 8pm – 11pm on the 11th of October via www.ctrlroom.ca and will be archived on Mixcloud and Chew TV after that.

Be a Guest on the Show

If you play underground music, I want to hear from you. Send me a message including a link to your mixcloud or soundcloud and thoughts about your music convictions and if things work out I would be privileged to have you on the show in the future. Consider this: it’s all about the heart and soul so what I want to hear is to a mix that you really feel and like, not just something to get more fans or gigs. It’s not about you – its about the music.

About Andreas

rouchos-dj-toronto-techno-house_Intro_HeaderAndreas Marouchos (Short, Rouchos), is a DJ from Toronto. Playing Techno and House, Andreas has been a professional DJ since 1998, playing sets in four countries. He is also a podcasting pioneer, with live audio and video mixes stretching as far back as the last millennium. Despite the progress of technology, Andreas still collects and spins 100% of music on Vinyl as he believes that “putting a laptop between a DJ and the crowd seems boring”.

You can catch his podcasts on WEATNU, CTRL ROOM and DJFM
