8 Pieces of Vinyl I scored on Record Store Day in Toronto

You must think I am a raving lunatic for having spent this past weekend indoors digging through countless crates in search for my next great vinyl tune, but you have to be a little eccentric to be a DJ or an artist in general. While most of the city was basking in the sun on a patio, in High Park or at the beach I spent the first day of spring like weather at local record stores. If you are a follower of music blogs, you might have heard of Record Store Day which is now in its ninth year. The event is enormously successful, with stores “on every continent except Antarctica” now participating, according to the organizers. After several hours and a few stops around Toronto, I scores 8 pieces of vinyl to my record collection. Continue reading
